About BEEpilot
Our Story
Within the MEZeroE H2020 project (Measuring Envelope products and systems contributing to next generation of healthy nearly Zero Energy Buildings – Grant Agreement n. 953157) seven different pilot lines are being developed, with the aim of characterizing the performance of different building envelope solutions.
In this context, the BEE Team of Politecnico di Milano is working on a specific pilot line, focusing on the characterization of multi-layer dry nZEB Enabler Envelope Solutions facing health and safety requirements. The development of this test-chain has led to the construction, in the Polo Territoriale di Lecco, of a pilot plant – Building Energy Efficiency pilot – for the testing and analysis of innovative building envelope products and/or materials, especially in reference to their thermal, acoustic, photometric and comfort performances.
BEEpilot Services
BEEpilot provides a combination of multiscale modelling, testing and numerical analysis for multi-layer dry nEES, in terms of: thermal, acoustic, air quality and air resistance performance.
Providing a combination of multiscale modelling, testing and numerical analysis for multi-layer dry nZEB Enabler Envelope Solutions (nEES), we offer the client not just a test but more of a comprehensive M&V approach to develop innovative, pioneering and optimized solutions.
